BIOGRAPHY

Beau Patterson’s practice involves a broad range of business transactions and general representation of business entities in the areas of creditor's rights, healthcare, oil and gas transactions, regulatory compliance and real estate matters.

In 2011, Oklahoma City University School of Law honored Beau with its Outstanding Young Alumnus award.


REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Represented clients in the formation and operation of virtual and physical public charter schools, including negotiation with school districts for, and subsequent drafting of, charter agreements and contracts;  formation of charter school boards and creation of bylaws and mission statements; negotiation with independent contractors for service agreements with charter schools (representing schools); and advising school boards regarding operational requirements under the Oklahoma Charter Schools Act.
  • Representation of individuals and companies in business and commercial transactions, including asset sales and purchases, stock sales and purchases, and other merger and acquisition transactions.
  • Representation of creditors in bankruptcy reorganizations and adversary proceedings.
  • Representation of businesses and individuals in the acquisition of improved and unimproved real estate property, including title, survey and diligence activities.
  • Representation of clients before various municipal and governmental entities with respect to numerous real estate matters (e.g. zoning, special use permitting and regulatory compliance).
  • Assist healthcare clients in developing programs and guidelines to comply with HIPAA requirements.
  • Representation of healthcare providers in evaluating compliance with Stark law and Medicare fraud and abuse laws and regulations.
