Giannina Marin’s practice is concentrated in the areas of family wealth planning and general business transactions. She represents both individuals and businesses in a variety of estate planning, probate, corporate and tax matters.
Giannina graduated cum laude with a B.S.B.A. in finance and a B.A. in criminology from the University of Florida in 2006 and magna cum laude with a J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law in December 2008. While in law school, she served as an intern for the Hon. Juan R. Torruella, U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, as well as a research assistant to Robert Emerson, Professor of Legal Studies, and teaching assistant in Appellate Advocacy and Legal Research and Writing. In addition to receiving Book Awards in Constitutional Law, Evidence, Property, and Wills and Trusts, Giannina was a recipient of the University of Florida Pro Bono Certificate for her pro bono work. She also served as a board member and treasurer of the John Marshall Bar Association as well as board member of the Florida Law Review. Her writing credits include “Possession of Child Pornography: Should You be Convicted When the Computer Cache Does the Saving for You,” Florida Law Review.
Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she is fluent in Spanish as well as Italian.
