BIOGRAPHY

Jared Mashaney is a corporate lawyer whose practice encompasses a broad range of business matters, including commercial transactions, business law, real estate and commercial lending.

Jared graduated with highest honors from the University of Tulsa College of Law, where he was named to the Order of the Curule Chair, served as editor of the Tulsa Law Review and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honor fraternity. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including CALI awards in Property, Antitrust II, Jurisprudence, Employment Law, and Criminal Procedure: Police Practices. Additionally, Jared received the F. M. Rowell, Sr. Award in Property Law and was chosen as a Chesapeake Energy Scholar.

Jared also holds a bachelor’s degree in political science-legal studies from the University of Central Oklahoma.


REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Represented SAIC Constructors, LLC, a provider of comprehensive design-build services for a variety of major industries, in securing bridge financing for the construction of a 62.5-megawatt geothermal power plant by Patua Project LLC, a subsidiary of Gradient Resources, Inc. The transaction included the negotiation of a credit agreement and related security documents.
  • Represented a publicly traded bank in a $300 million divestiture of a performing, subperforming and non-performing commercial real estate loan portfolio and real estate owned (REO) properties.
  • Represented a lender in numerous term loans and revolving credit facilities to companies engaged in oil and gas exploration and production, gathering and transportation, and refining.
  • Represented clients in sales and acquisitions of unimproved and improved real property, including negotiation and documentation of purchase and sale agreements; title and survey diligence; regulatory compliance; and land use issues.
  • Representation of landlords and tenants in all aspects of commercial leasing transactions.
  • Representation of numerous clients in ad valorem tax matters, including, specifically, charitable healthcare providers in securing ad valorem tax exemptions.
