Patricia A. Rogers

Patricia Rogers practices primarily in the area of health law. • Assisting hospitals in applying for a certificate of need for the acquisition of psychiatric or chemical dependency facilities and expansion of psychiatric or chemical dependency units and complying with related state licensure and permit requirements.
  
• Representing hospitals, physicians and other healthcare providers in drafting and negotiating professional services contracts, recruitment agreements, lease agreements, service agreements and employment contracts.
  
• Assisting hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers and their medical staffs in developing governance documents, including governing board bylaws and medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations.
  
• Developing corporate compliance programs and counseling healthcare clients regarding HIPAA, HITECH, EMTALA and Medicare certification and payment requirements.
  
• Advising hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers on National Practitioner Data Bank reporting and fair hearing requirements.
  
• Assisting physicians and other healthcare providers in forming joint ventures to develop imaging facilities, sleep labs, physical therapy centers and other healthcare facilities.
