Richard Hix is a senior trial attorney who has successfully represented clients in major litigation in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration, throughout the United States. His cases have run the gamut of virtually every kind of commercial litigation, including disputes involving breach of contract, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) issues, business torts, oil and gas, environmental, tax, class actions, banking, antitrust, insurance, intellectual property, employment and securities. His expertise extends to all phases of large-scale civil litigation as well as appeals in both the state and federal court systems. Additionally, Richard has negotiated and assisted in structuring settlements of complex multi-party cases and has extensive experience in case evaluation and mediation of such matters. He also has extensive experience serving as a mediator.
Richard currently serves as an adjunct settlement judge for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma and formerly served for the Tulsa County District Court in the same capacity.

Prior to embarking on his legal career, the Duke Law School graduate served in the U.S. Air Force from 1967 - 1970.
