As Director of Human Resources and Recruiting, Judy Cross oversees all facets of the firm’s human resources and recruiting efforts. Her responsibilities include employee staffing and development, employee benefits administration, and strategic planning and implementation, as well as overseeing all functions related to the recruitment and orientation of law clerks and new associates.
After attending Oklahoma State University, Judy began a 25+ year career in banking, working in customer service, personnel and marketing, branch management, and finally, human resource management. After a family move to Oklahoma City in early 2006, Judy was named Human Resource Director for Hudiburg Auto Group and held that position prior to joining McAfee & Taft.
Since coming to Oklahoma City, Judy has volunteered her time to work with Habitat for Humanity and United Way and has campaigned for the Prevention of Child Abuse in Oklahoma.
Judy is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, Oklahoma City Human Resource Society and OKC Metro Employer Council and currently serves on the Governor’s Committee for the Employment of People with Disabilities.
