Joyce Torre Stribling serves as a paralegal to the firm's intellectual
property group. She began her legal career in 1988 after obtaining a
bachelor's degree in education from Southwestern Christian University.
Joyce brings over 20 years of combined legal experience in the
areas of
securities, healthcare, personal injury, workers' compensation, family
and
probate law to her role with McAfee & Taft. Her responsibilities
include preparation of all types of documents used in connection with
intellectual
property litigation, patent and trademark
applications and responses, trademark clearance,
registration, renewals and maintenance. Joyce also prepares documents related to copyrights, domain
disputes and opposition/cancellation proceedings filed with the
Trademark Trial and
Appeal Board.
Joyce
is a
member of the
Central
Oklahoma Association of Legal Assistants
and continues to enhance her skills through participation in
continuing
education classes.
