Biography

Bernard Jones is a trial lawyer who practices in the areas of labor and employment, family law and products liability litigation.

Prior to joining McAfee & Taft in 2006, Bernard worked as litigation associate in the Columbus, OH, office of Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP.  His experience includes general civil litigation, as well as cases involving environmental issues and family law. 

While in law school, Bernard was a Notre Dame Law Fellow, served as president of the Black Law Students Association, and was a member of the Notre Dame moot court trial team.  As an undergraduate at Southern Methodist University, he served as president of the student body and was the recipient of the university’s prestigious “M” Award and John L. Freehafer Memorial Award.
