Biography

Brandon Buchanan’s state and federal litigation practice is focused on labor and employment law, products liability defense, mass torts, and litigation involving healthcare, insurance and construction disputes.   In addition to representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex civil litigation matters, he also represents defendants in employment-related litigation involving all types of wrongful discharge claims and claims related to employment agreements.

Prior to joining McAfee & Taft in 2005, Brandon was a litigation associate with another Oklahoma City-based civil practice law firm.  He has also served as legal advisor to the Oklahoma State Senate Judiciary, clerk to Oklahoma Supreme Court Justice Marian P. Opala, and legislative director for the University of Oklahoma.
