Biography
Jenna Rader’s practice encompasses all areas of intellectual property, including trademark, copyright and trade secret law as well as patent litigation. She also has experience in advertising, entertainment and sports law. Jenna handles both transactional and litigation matters.
Jenna has particular experience in trademark law that includes complex trademark issues, both foreign and domestic. Starting from the proposal of a new trademark, Jenna works with clients to help them protect and police their valuable marks. Jenna has analyzed the availability and written opinions for literally hundreds of marks. She has also successfully filed and prosecuted dozens of trademark applications for all types of clients, with a particular emphasis on businesses engaged in the food, clothing, banking and oil and gas industries. She has developed a wide network of trusted foreign associates to aid in international matters.
Jenna has successfully handled dozens of intellectual property cases in federal court and in the United States Patent & Trademark Office. She also has vast experience in handling proceedings before the Trademark Trial & Appeal Board.
In addition, Jenna’s practice includes drafting intellectual property contracts, including licenses, coexistence agreements, assignment documents and other contracts relating to both international and U.S. intellectual property rights. When it comes to intellectual property, Jenna Rader is well equipped to take on any matter.
Prior to entering law school, Jenna chaired the science department and taught physics, anatomy, chemistry and biology at Crescent High School. In 1998, she was honored as the school’s “Teacher of the Year” and was named in Who’s Who of Teachers. Jenna now serves as an adjunct professor for Intellectual Property at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She has authored various published articles, including a series of articles in The Journal Record entitled “Top Ten Trademark Tips.”
An active member of LifeChurch, Jenna has led a women’s Bible study for many years.
