Biography

Jenna Rader’s practice encompasses all areas of intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and patent litigation.  She also has experience in advertising and entertainment law.

Jenna’s experience in trademark law includes complex trademark issues, both foreign and domestic.  Starting from the proposal of a new trademark, Jenna works with clients to help them protect and police their valuable trademarks.  Jenna has analyzed the availability and written opinions for literally hundreds of trademarks during her career.  Furthermore, she has successfully filed and prosecuted dozens of trademark applications for all types of clients, with a particular emphasis on businesses engaged in the food, clothing and oil and gas industries.  When the circumstances benefit the client, she advises and assists them in filing their own trademark applications; however, she will completely handle the application process when the client prefers a less hands-on approach.  Jenna has also successfully handled dozens of cases in federal court and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).

In addition, Jenna has drafted numerous intellectual property contracts, including licenses, coexistence agreements, assignment documents and other contracts relating to both international and U.S. intellectual property rights.  She has developed a wide network of trusted foreign associates to aid in international matters.  When it comes to intellectual property, Jenna is well equipped to take on any matter.

Prior to entering law school, Jenna chaired the science department and taught physics, anatomy, chemistry and biology at Crescent High School in Crescent, OK.  In 1998, she was honored as the school’s “Teacher of the Year” and was named in Who’s Who of Teachers.  She currently serves as a volunteer tutor at Gatewood Elementary School in Oklahoma City.

Jenna is also an active member of LifeChurch and has led a women’s Bible study for several years.
