Biography

Mike LaBrie practices in the area of intellectual property including patent, trademark and copyright law and related litigation.  He is also experienced in licensing, computer software, e-commerce and Internet issues and agreements.  Mike is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and has represented and counseled clients in searching, clearing and acquiring intellectual property assets; venture capital transactions involving intellectual property; negotiating license, technology and joint venture agreements; performing intellectual property audits; intellectual property portfolio management; and litigating disputes.

He is a contributing author of “State Trademark and Unfair Competition Law” and has presented papers and spoken on various intellectual property topics at continuing legal education seminars.  Mike has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the field of intellectual property.
