Biography
Mona Dahr joined McAfee & Taft in 2006 and practices in the areas of taxation and family wealth law.
Mona graduated magna cum laude with bachelor’s degrees in both economics and history at Southern Methodist University before going on to earn her Juris Doctor at SMU and her master of laws degree in taxation from New York University.
While a law student at SMU, Mona served as articles editor for the SMU Law Review and as president of the International Law Society. Her legal experience also includes working as a federal tax clinic student attorney at the SMU Legal Clinic, as an intern for the Honorable Barbara J. Houser of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Justice Marian P. Opala of the Supreme Court of Oklahoma.
