Biography
Ryne Miller joined McAfee & Taft in 2007 and practices in the areas of banking and finance, as well as corporate and securites related matters.
Much of his practice is focused on representing financial institutions in matters pertaining to their regulatory and operational needs. A portion of his practice is also devoted to corporate and securities transactions, including agreement drafting, entity formation and regulatory matters.
Ryne is a recent honors graduate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While earning his Juris Doctor, he was a Comfort Scholar, served on Oklahoma Law Review and as president of the Oklahoma International Law Society, and was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Professional Responsibility. As a law student, Ryne also spent six months as a visiting scholar with the LL.M. International Business Law Programme at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.
As an undergraduate at Oklahoma State University, Ryne received the Oklahoma Economic Club Award as the top graduating senior in economics. In addtion, Ryne spent one academic year of his undergraduate studies as a visiting student with the economics and humanities faculties as the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom.
