BiographyBebe Thompson’s extensive career in real estate spans more than 28 years and three states. She originally came to work for McAfee & Taft in 1983 as a paralegal for the firm’s real estate attorneys. After leaving the firm in 1987, Bebe first went to work for a Colorado-based title company and then a national title insurance company in Arizona, where she added to her already extensive experience in commercial real estate, title work and management. After moving back to Oklahoma in 2003, Bebe returned to work at McAfee & Taft in the spring of 2007.
In her current role, Bebe provides paralegal support to the firm’s real estate group and the firm’s healthcare group. Bebe assists with commercial real estate transactions such as office buildings, lumber yards, manufacturing operations, hospitals and vacant land. Additionally, she performs title, survey and diligence reviews; drafts and obtains documents to resolve title issues for closings; drafts business entity formation documents and files those documents with the appropriate state agencies; assists with business asset closings; drafts entity and transfer documents; and prepares and files UCC financing statements.
Bebe graduated from Oklahoma City University in 1977 with a bachelor's degree in sociology and a minor in psychology.
