Biography

Dianna Peters brings more than 30 years of legal experience and expertise, including more than 25 as a paralegal, to her role with McAfee & Taft.  Though she currently assists attorneys involved in the practice of business and securities litigation and employee benefits law, she also has significant experience in the areas of general litigation, banking, employment law, family law, insurance, medical malpractice, oil and gas, probate and wills, products liability, real estate transactions and securities law. 

The Oklahoma native graduated with honors from Rose State College with a degree in legal assistant studies and later attended the University of Oklahoma.  In addition to attaining the CP designation from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) in 1989, she has also actively participated in continuing education classes since beginning her legal career in 1975. Prior to joining McAfee & Taft in 1986, she worked at three other law firms.

Dianna is a member of NALA and the Central Oklahoma Association of Legal Assistants (COALA).  In addition, she previously served as a district director for the Oklahoma Paralegal Association and has coordinated and instructed CP review courses and other paralegal seminars.  She also volunteers as a docent at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.
