BiographyNiki Nash serves as a paralegal for the firm’s worldwide aircraft financing, title and registration practice. Her responsibilities include preparing aircraft closing instruments for filing and recordation with the Federal Aviation Administration, verifying recorded instruments have been posted by the FAA to the proper records, reviewing and compiling FAA records for outstanding/resolved title and lien issues, and corresponding with involved parties to resolve document issues. Additionally, she works with firm attorneys to ensure that client interests in aircraft, engines and helicopters are protected and in compliance with the Cape Town Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Aircraft Protocol
Prior to joining McAfee & Taft, Niki worked as a paralegal for a small Oklahoma City law firm and as a legal secretary for one of Oklahoma’s largest workers’ compensation insurance carriers. Earlier in her career, she worked for 20 years as an accountant and a medical review officer assistant.
Niki holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Carolina and her paralegal certification from Metropolitan College in Oklahoma City, where she was on the Director’s Honor Roll and received Propter Excelsior awards for outstanding academic achievement. |
