This presentation provides a review and update of legal and policy
developments regarding greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and mitigation.
Specifically, this presentation reviews the current and potential
future regulatory, legislative and judicial landscape impacting climate
change drivers, including power plant and other energy sector regulation
under the Clean Air Act and energy conservation programs.
This
presentation also summarizes California programs, and of particular interest to those interested in research opportunities
resulting from legislatively mandated technology forcing as well as
regulatory implementation.
