
Trial attorney Daniel A. Loeffler has joined McAfee & Taft, Oklahoma’s largest law firm, in its Oklahoma City office. Loeffler’s practice is focused on complex litigation matters, including those involving antitrust, appeals, class actions, securities, and white-collar criminal defense. He also advises businesses on antitrust compliance and related issues.
Loeffler graduated from Wheaton College and The University of Michigan Law School, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif, served as Note Editor of the Michigan Law Review, and was named a John M. Olin Student Fellow in Law and Economics. During law school, he served as a clerk for Oklahoma Supreme Court Justice Marian P. Opala.
After law school, Loeffler clerked for the Hon. Roger L. Gregory on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He subsequently practiced in Washington, D.C. with the law firm of Kellogg, Huber, Hansen, Todd, Evans, & Figel. In 2008, Loeffler returned home to Oklahoma to serve as vice president and general counsel of a privately held company in Oklahoma City.
