Attorney J. Barrett Ellis has joined McAfee & Taft, Oklahoma’s largest law firm, in its Oklahoma City office. Ellis is a corporate lawyer who represents financial institutions, including banks, bank holding companies, savings associations and lenders in regulatory and transactional matters.
The Oklahoma native obtained his Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School. Following graduation, Ellis practiced for more than three years in the Chicago office of a large, international firm before joining McAfee & Taft. While practicing in Chicago, he represented clients in all types of commercial lending and corporate transactions, including multi-million dollar transactions for national banks, preeminent private equity funds and Fortune 500 companies.
