McAfee & Taft, the state’s largest law firm, has named Sherri A. Dawson as office manager of its growing Tulsa office. Dawson is a 20-year career professional whose responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day administrative functions of McAfee & Taft’s Tulsa operations and serving as a liaison with the firm’s office services, human resources, information systems, accounting, records management, library administration and marketing departments.
Prior to joining McAfee & Taft, Dawson served as office administrator for Tulsa-based Eldridge Cooper Steichen & Leach, PLLC, a 27-person boutique litigation firm which was acquired by McAfee & Taft in October. With the recent combination of practices, McAfee & Taft has expanded its Tulsa office to include nearly 40 lawyers and 32 support personnel in just three years.
Dawson is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators and previously held leadership positions within the organization’s Tulsa chapter.
