The board of directors of McAfee & Taft, Oklahoma’s largest law firm, have named shareholders Charles Greenough, Rusty LaForge and Keith McFall as new practice group leaders for the 2011 term.
Charles Greenough
will lead the firm’s Business Restructuring, Workouts and Bankruptcy practice. He is a corporate lawyer who has extensive experience representing both lenders and borrowers in debtor/creditor and bankruptcy matters, as well as serving as a trustee and as a liquidating agent in complex bankruptcy estates. He also represents banks and other financial institutions in all aspects of loan documentation, workouts and related litigation. He currently serves as a Chapter 7 trustee for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma, which includes handling a wide variety of consumer bankruptcy issues. Greenough’s accomplishments have earned him inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the areas of banking and finance law, bankruptcy and creditor-debtor rights/insolvency and reorganization law.
Rusty LaForge
, a corporate lawyer whose practice is primarily concentrated on regulatory and transactional matters affecting banks, bank holding companies and other financial institutions, has been named the leader of the firm's Banking and Financial Institutions Practice Group. His broad base of knowledge and career experience includes serving as director of investor relations for a large publicly-traded financial services holding company and as director of finance for the Office of Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating.
Veteran transactional attorney Keith McFall, best known for his work in a significant number of high-profile commercial projects throughout Oklahoma, will lead the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Transactions practice. The group is the largest in the state and has perennially received top rankings from the Chambers USA Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. McFall also co-chairs the firm’s Sports Industry Group and has been individually recognized by leading industry publications Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America and Oklahoma Super Lawyers.
