McAfee & Taft Shareholders Elect Jennifer Callahan to Board of Directors

The shareholders of McAfee & Taft, Oklahoma’s largest law firm, have elected Jennifer Callahan as the newest member of its board of directors.  She joins Richard Craig, Michael Joseph, Michael Lauderdale, Rick Mullins, Jim Webb and managing director Richard Nix on the seven-member board.

Callahan is an employee benefits and tax lawyer whose practice is devoted to all aspects of executive compensation and benefits planning private and public companies of all sizes across a broad range of industries. She also utilizes her knowledge and experience with tax-exempt law in assisting tax-exempt organizations, including charitable organizations, schools and universities, healthcare organizations and private foundations, navigate the unique tax and regulatory requirements applicable for maintaining tax-exempt status.

Callahan earned her law degree from the University of Oklahoma, her master’s degree from Oklahoma City University and her bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic State University.  Her achievements have earned her inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America and Oklahoma Super Lawyers, where she was named to the publication's 2009 list of "Top 25 Women Oklahoma Super Lawyers."

Prior to her election to the firm’s board, she has served as chair of the firm’s Associate Committee.
