McAfee & Taft Named to National Guide of Go-To Law Firms

McAfee & Taft, Oklahoma’s largest law firm, has been named a “Go-To Law Firm^®” for the second-year running by the researchers at ALM, the nation’s leading legal journalism and information company.

In its annual survey sent to the general counsel at each of the 500 largest companies in the United States, ALM asked the nation’s top companies who they turn to first to handle their most significant legal matters in the areas of corporate transactions, intellectual property, labor and employment, litigation, and European Union matters.  Their responses form the basis for ALM’s 2008 edition of Go-To Law Firms of the World’s Leading Companies, a reference guide to in-house law departments at the nation’s top 500 companies.

Fortune 500 companies Tyson Foods (#88), Computer Sciences (#170) and Devon Energy Corporation (#221) all singled out McAfee & Taft as a “go-to” firm for legal work.
