Paralegal Betsy M. Lattimer Joins McAfee & Taft

Tulsa, OK - January 27, 2009


Betsy M. Lattimer
has joined McAfee & Taft, Oklahoma’s largest law firm, as a paralegal.  She primarily assists attorneys with all aspects of trial preparation, including research, reviewing plaintiff discovery, coordinating and responding to discovery requests, preparing and organizing documents and exhibits for trial, and drafting and filing pleadings.  In addition to assisting with general business litigation cases, Lattimer also provides litigation support to attorneys engaged in bankruptcy and employment law.

After attending Oklahoma State University, Lattimer worked for small intellectual property law firms in both Oklahoma City and Tulsa.  She is experienced in all facets of intellectual property law, including conducting domestic and international trademark searches and filings and entering and tracking deadlines using IP docketing systems.  She is also a member of the Tulsa Association of Legal Assistants (TALA).  Prior to joining McAfee & Taft, Lattimer worked for a Tulsa-based law firm for six years, primarily in litigation and intellectual property law.
