H. Anne Croley, Rebecca Marr and Shandra L. Musgraves have joined McAfee & Taft, the state’s largest firm, as paralegal support for the firm’s Litigation Group in its Tulsa office.
Anne Croley
provides comprehensive support to trial lawyers engaged in complex civil litigation in state and federal courts nationwide, particularly in the areas of mass torts, multi-district litigation, class actions, and high-profile product liability litigation involving the defense of major pharmaceutical, medical device and automotive manufacturers.
Anne graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and with distinction with a master’s degree in management from Southern Nazarene University.
Active in the legal community, she is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) and is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Paralegal Committee. She serves on the advisory board of the University of Tulsa Legal Assistant Program and as an adjunct professor of civil litigation and advisory board member at Tulsa Community College. Her community activities include membership in the National Business Education Association and Delta Mu Delta, Phi Epsilon and Alpha Sigma Lambda national honor societies. She is also a master adjunct professor of business and humanities at Oklahoma Wesleyan University and a motivational speaker for Christian women groups.
Rebecca Marr
provides litigation support primarily in the areas of product liability, civil litigation and employment law. Her responsibilities include conducting in-depth background analysis and research, drafting pleadings, reviewing plaintiff discovery, retrieval and analysis of medical and employment records, and trial preparation from inception until conclusion.
Rebecca earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice specializing in paralegalism with a minor in Spanish from Northeastern State University. She began her paralegal career at an international law firm where she managed and directed a team of case management individuals, prepared statistical litigation reports for Fortune 500 clients, and handled all new case pleadings for the firm’s extensive product liability defense practice. After returning to her native Oklahoma in 2003, she worked as a litigation paralegal at a Tulsa-based law firm prior for eight years prior to joining McAfee & Taft.
In addition to being a member of the Tulsa Association of Legal Assistants, Rebecca is an active community volunteer for numerous area projects, including Manna Meals, NSU Scholarship Foundation, Robbie Page Memorial, Habitat for Humanity, Adopt A Highway, Illinois Riiver Cleanup and various 5k runs for medical cures. In addition, she has traveled abroad for missionary work to teach children’s Bible classes and build homes for impoverished families.
Litigation paralegal
Shandra Musgraves provides support to trial lawyers whose practices are primarily focused in the areas of product liability, employment law and complex commercial litigation.
Shandra earned an associate’s degree in paralegal studies and graduated with high honors from Phoenix College. She began her legal career in the Juror Commissioners’ Office at the Maricopa County Superior Court in Phoenix, Arizona. Shortly after moving to Oklahoma, she worked as a litigation paralegal at a Tulsa-based law firm for one year prior to joining McAfee & Taft. She is a member of the Tulsa Area Paralegal Association.
