McAfee & Taft, Oklahoma’s largest law firm, has further expanded its real estate practice with the addition of associate attorney Marni Lefkowitz.
Lefkowitz is a transactional lawyer whose practice is primarily focused on the real estate industry. Her experience includes advising developers, builders and lenders in connection with real property transactions, including the structuring and financing of complex mixed-use common ownership interest projects. She has provided legal counsel on matters related to development and construction rights, new home warranties, condominium registration requirements, tenant conversion rights, mortgagee rights and conditions, and residential salesperson licensing issues.
Lefkowitz holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University, a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law, and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Immediately prior to joining McAfee & Taft, she was an attorney with the Real Estate, Planned Communities and Condominiums Group at the national law firm of Ballard Spahr Andrews and Ingersoll LLP in their Bethesda, Maryland and Washington, DC offices.
