Two paralegals from McAfee & Taft, Oklahoma City’s largest law firm, have been elected to officer positions by the Central Oklahoma Association of Legal Assistants for the 2008 term.
Sephy Palmerton, a litigation paralegal with more than 25 years experience, was elected to serve as president of COALA. She previously served two terms as first vice president.
Penni Jones, a litigation support specialist, has been re-elected for a second term as liaison to the National Association of Legal Assistants and to the Oklahoma Bar Association.
