OK - September 5, 2007McAfee & Taft has named Rhonda Melton and Ginger Schones litigation paralegals.
Rhonda Melton serves as a paralegal for the firm's intellectual property practice group and is responsible for case management, preparing and filing pleadings, discovery support and analysis, exhibit preparation, trial preparation, and assisting attorneys at trial in disputes involving patents, trademarks, copyrights and other areas of intellectual property law.
Prior to transitioning to her current role, Rhonda spent the last 10 years working in the firm’s labor and employment practice group as a secretary/assistant.
Rhonda graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in organizational leadership from Southern Nazarene University and is volunteer for Children of Promise - Mentors of Hope partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Ginger Schones provides litigation support for attorneys engaged in the representation of clients in complex commercial litigation, business disputes, products liability litigation, ERISA litigation, insurance litigation, administrative proceedings, and arbitrations and mediations. Her responsibilities include preparing and filing pleadings, reviewing and organizing documents, and preparing for trial. She began her legal career in 1990 and most recently worked as a legal secretary for McAfee & Taft for four years.
