What Aircraft Re-Registration Means

In spite of objections from the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and other industry groups, the FAA has published an onerous new rule for aircraft re-registration. As reported in NBAA Update, FAA officials believe more than a third of the aircraft registries in its database are outdated or inaccurate and cite the problem as the reason the agency is calling for all aircraft owners to re-register their aircraft within a three-year period. In this edition of the NBAA Flight Plan podcast, McAfee & Taft aviation attorney Frank Polk describes what the new rule means for NBAA members.
