Ten attorneys from McAfee & Taft have been named to the inaugural edition of Oklahoma Rising Stars, which recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state – those who are 40 years old or younger or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.

The 2008 honorees from McAfee & Taft are: Stephanie Chapman, Cheryl Vinall Denney, Shawn Harrell, Rodney Hunsinger II, Brandon Long, Michael McClintock, Tamara Schiffner Pullin, Ronald Shinn, Spencer Smith and Jeff Todd.

Selection to the Oklahoma Rising Stars list is based on a survey of approximately 12,000 active attorneys across the state, and honorees are selected through peer nominations and the independent research of Law & Politics, a publication of Key Professional Media, Inc. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to the list.

McAfee & Taft is one of the largest, most experienced law firms in the Southwest, serving clients throughout the region and nationally in the areas of aviation, business law, corporate and securities, employee benefits, environmental law, healthcare, intellectual property, labor and employment, litigation, oil and gas, real estate and tax and family wealth.  With offices in both Oklahoma City and Tulsa, the firm employs more than 280 Oklahomans, including more than 145 attorneys.
