Sean S. Hunt, a former landman and attorney for one of the nation’s largest oil and gas companies, has joined the law firm of McAfee & Taft, where a significant portion of his practice is devoted to representing energy, oil and gas companies in a broad range of matters, including oil and gas property sales and acquisitions, drafting and reviewing title opinions, and negotiating and preparing joint operating agreements, oil and gas leases, and other contracts. As a member of the state’s largest corporate and business transactions group, he also represents other public and private entities in broad range of business and commercial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, contract drafting and negotiations, and corporate governance.
Hunt earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Oklahoma and his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Oklahoma City Association of Professional Landmen.
