Aviareto Seminar on Fractional Ownership Registration with the International Registry

The International Regisry has developed an upgrade to the system which will allow it to accommodate the registration of fractional interests and co-ownership interests in aircraft and engines.  Also developed is an upgrade which will enable users to carry out multiple authorizations in a single transaction.  It is planned to go live with both upgrades in late May 2007.

The International Registry has scheduled a meeting on Monday, May 14, 2007, at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City for attorneys and title companies who use the system and fractional companies and their counsel.  The meeting session will include a presentation from the Registrar of the International Registry to explain the changes to the system and will also include a demonstration of the new software.

The Cox Convention Center is conveniently located in downtown Oklahoma City, adjacent to the city’s Bricktown entertainment district and within walking distance of the following hotels:

      Skirvin Hilton Hotel       (405) 272-3040
      Colcord Hotel               (405) 601-4300

Representatives from the International Registry will hold a special meeting at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City with fractional programme managers and their counsel to review the proposed procedure for the establishment of Transacting User Entity accounts on the International Registry, for parties that are purchasing a fractional interest.  Seating for this seminar is limited.

There is no cost to attend either session; however, reservations are required.  Seminar reservations are being accepted by McAfee & Taft, which is assisting with the local organization of the meeting.  When registering online, please be sure to note whether you will be attending the limited-seating session on Tuesday morning.
