Best Lawyers, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession, has named a record number 21 McAfee & Taft attorneys as “Lawyers of the Year” in 22 legal practice specialties. Only a single lawyer in specialty in each market is honored as “Lawyer of the Year.”

Named “Best Lawyers‘ 2017 Oklahoma City Lawyers of the Year” were Timothy J. Bomhoff for energy law, Stephanie Chapman for closely held companies and family businesses law, W. Chris Coleman for corporate compliance law, Richard D. Craig for tax litigation and controversy law, Elizabeth L. Dalton for corporate law, John A. Kenney for trade secrets law, Michael J. LaBrie for patent litigation, Robert T. Luttrell for both banking and finance law and financial services regulation law, Richard D. Nix for employee benefits/ERISA law, Ross Plourde for bankruptcy and debtor-creditor rights/insolvency and restructuring law, Anthony L. Rahhal for copyright law, Patricia A. Rogers for health care law, Susan B. Shields for business organizations law, Jeff L. Todd for water law, Jennifer Wheeler for securities regulation law, and Elizabeth Scott Wood for employment law – management.

Attorneys named “Best Lawyers‘ 2017 Tulsa Lawyers of the Year” were Mark H. Allen for business organizations law, Mary Quinn Cooper for bet-the-company litigation, William S. Leach for product liability defense litigation, and Kathy R. Neal for employment law – management.

In addition, a record number 103 McAfee & Taft attorneys were named to the 2017 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
