Bill Leach honored with 2019 Brunton-Will CLE Award
The Tulsa County Bar Foundation honored McAfee & Taft trial lawyer Bill Leach with the Brunton-Will CLE Award during its 2019 Law Day Luncheon. The annual award honors Tulsa County Bar Association members who have provided outstanding contributions in the field of continuing legal educating by educating attorneys on the theories and practical considerations of law, developing meaning and thought-provoking educational programs, and teaching fellow attorneys the highest professional and ethical standards as exemplified by his or her own conduct in the practice of law.
Over the years, Bill has planned, presented and moderated numerous CLE programs across the state for the Tulsa County Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association, and Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium. In addition to speaking on trial preparation and practice skills, he also frequently moderates the Tulsa County Bar Association’s annual judicial panel.
Bill is a veteran trial lawyer who has tried nearly 100 cases to verdict in Oklahoma and surrounding states, with an emphasis on those involving insurance claims and coverage disputes, claims of bad faith against insurers, product liability defense, mass torts and class action litigation, multidistrict litigation, and complex business litigation. He is an elected fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
