As a paralegal with the firm’s Tax and Family Wealth Group, Bailey Simmons works with attorneys involved in wealth transfer tax planning for families and individuals, business planning for closely held family businesses, business entity formation, formation and administration of tax-exempt organizations, tax structuring of complex business transactions, the settlement and litigation of disputes regarding wills and trusts, guardianship matters, general tax planning for businesses and individuals, and local, state and federal taxation.
Prior to joining McAfee & Taft, Bailey worked as a law clerk for two law firms in McKinney, Texas.
Bailey holds a bachelor’s degree in public communication and leadership from Oklahoma Christian University. She later went on to earn her paralegal certificate from Texas Christian University.
Bailey is a member of the Central Oklahoma Association of Legal Assistants (COALA), Oklahoma Paralegal Association, and the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of Texas.Download Bio (PDF)
