As a paralegal with the firm’s Business Transactions and Securities groups, Beth Garner provides support to lawyers engaged in a broad range of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, entity formation and organization, corporate governance, securities offerings and corporate finance, secured transactions, general contract matters, real estate acquisition and development, and other complex business transactions.
Prior to joining McAfee & Taft in 2011, Beth worked in public service for nearly 30 years, receiving and processing legal documents presented for filing with the Business Filing Division of the Oklahoma Secretary of State’s office. While there, she represented the state of Oklahoma at annual meetings for both the International Association of Corporate Administrators (IACA) and the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS).
Beth is an active member of LifeChurch.tv’s Midwest City campus and regularly volunteers her time for City Rescue Mission, a faith-based, private nonprofit organization that serves homeless men, women and children in the Oklahoma City metro area by providing them safe shelter, warm meals, and recovery and social services.
