Anne Cape is a transactional lawyer whose practice encompasses a broad range of business and corporate matters, including business entity selection and formation, contract negotiations and drafting, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, franchise law, and general transactional matters. As a part of her practice, she strives to incorporate her unique experience in entertainment industry to better serve her corporate clients.

Anne graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she as a member of Phi Delta Phi honor society and served as the symposium editor of the Oklahoma Law Review and organized the 2022 symposium, “Name, Image, Likeness in College Athletics.” While pursuing her Juris Doctor, she competed in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition sponsored by the International Trademark Association and was also an active member of the Organization for the Advancement of Women in Law, Sports and Entertainment Society, and Intellectual Property Society. In addition to earning American Jurisprudence Awards for academic achievement in contracts, trademarks and bankruptcy, she was also the recipient of numerous honors, including with the Joseph F. Rarick Just Desserts Award for her contributions to the law school, the Gene H. & Jo Ann Sharp Law Review Award, and a Second Century Scholarship, sponsored by Jack Mills, for her interest in sports law.

Prior to law school, Anne spent four years in the entertainment industry. She worked as an associate general manager for National Artist Management Company in New York City serving the Broadway productions of “Waitress The Musical” and “Chicago the Musical.” Before Broadway, she worked as the company manager for the Broadway national tour of “The Sound of Music” and as the assistant company manager for the national tours of “Once” and “Elf The Musical.” Anne graduated with a B.F.A. in musical theatre and a minor in arts administration from Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.
