Cecilia Fuenzalida

Paralegal

Cecilia Fuenzalida is a bilingual litigation paralegal who provides comprehensive legal support to trial lawyers engaged in a broad range of business-related litigation in state and federal courts as well as commercial arbitration. Her responsibilities, which focus on dispute resolution from inception to conclusion, include conducting research, reviewing plaintiff discovery, coordinating and responding to discovery requests, maintaining case files, docketing and scheduling, preparing and organizing documents and exhibits for trial, drafting and filing pleadings, and assisting attorneys at trial.

She is fluent in Spanish.

Prior to joining McAfee & Taft in 2022, Cecilia worked for a boutique law firm in Norman, OK, where she served in multiple roles, including legal document specialist, client services coordinator, and project manager. Her legal experience also includes working as a summer litigation intern for Tulsa City Hall.

Cecilia graduated magna cum laude from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and minors in pre-law studies and history. While an undergraduate, she worked as a research assistant for the Behavioral Neuroscience & Performance Center at the University of Oklahoma for three years and was named an OU Scholar for the Center of Intelligence and National Security CAE in Washington, D.C.
