Bio overview

Chris Huckaby is a trial lawyer with a proven and successful track record of trying both non-jury and jury trials in state and federal courts in Oklahoma and beyond. Since 1995, he has successfully represented energy companies, manufacturers, transportation companies, and insurance carriers in a wide variety of disputes.

Over the course of his career, Chris has developed extensive experience representing clients in litigation involving a variety of tort claims and requiring the skillful examination and cross-examination of expert witnesses before and at trial. In 2003, he represented a defendant in Christian v. Gray, 2003 OK 10, 65 P.3d 591, the landmark case in which the Oklahoma Supreme Court adopted the Daubert standards for expert witnesses. In addition to defending pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers and distributors in product liability litigation, he has also represented businesses and their insurance companies in lawsuits alleging personal injury and negligence arising from construction defects, transportation accidents, and premises liability.

Chris’s achievements have earned him inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America (commercial litigation; product liability litigation – defendants) and Oklahoma Super Lawyers, as well as an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell.
