
Cole McLanahan is a trial lawyer whose practice encompasses a broad range of business and commercial litigation, including the resolution of construction, professional liability, and energy and oil & gas disputes, before state and federal trial and appellate courts, administrative proceedings and hearings, and arbitrations.
Cole holds undergraduate degrees in both finance and accounting from Oklahoma State University and worked in financial auditing and regulatory compliance positions in both the public and private sectors prior to entering law school. In addition to serving as a compliance analyst for one of the nation’s largest mortgage servicing companies, his career experience includes working as an audit supervisor for the Office of the State Auditor and Inspector for the State of Oklahoma.
Cole earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he served as the executive articles editor of the Oklahoma Law Review, was a member of the Board of Advocates, and earned an American Jurisprudence Award for Legal Research and Writing. He also served as an extern for The Honorable Scott L. Palk of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.
