Debby Jones provides paralegal support to McAfee & Taft attorneys whose practices are devoted to assisting local, national and international clients with their aircraft title and financing needs. Her responsibilities include preparing aircraft and engine records for review, reviewing and compiling FAA records for outstanding/resolved title and lien issues, corresponding with involved parties to resolve document issues, drafting documents for attorney review, preparing aircraft closing instruments for filing and recordation with the Federal Aviation Administration, and verifying recorded instruments have been posted by the FAA to the proper aircraft, engine and propeller records.
Additionally, Debby serves as the Aviation Group’s paralegal manager. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing and supporting the large team of paralegals who provide comprehensive support to the firm’s global aircraft financing, title and registration practice.
Prior to joining McAfee & Taft in 2007, Debby worked in the mortgage industry for more than 20 years. During that time, she served in a variety of roles, including as a mortgage underwriter and a mortgage processor of residential loans. She also worked as the office manager for two mortgage companies in Oklahoma City.
