Gail A. McCuistion brings more than 28 years of legal experience – the majority of it in the field of aviation law – to her role as a paralegal for the firm’s Aviation Group. Her responsibilities have included preparation of aircraft closing instruments for recordation with the Federal Aviation Administration, reviewing and compiling FAA records for outstanding/resolved title and lien issues, corresponding with involved parties to resolve document issues, and verifying recorded instruments have been posted by the FAA to the proper aircraft, engine and propeller records. Gail currently liaises with the Aviation Group’s attorneys and its clients to resolve billing and receivable issues and prepare account reports, among numerous other client account related matters.
Prior to joining McAfee & Taft in 2000, Gail worked as both a legal secretary and paralegal in the fields of litigation, personal injury and family law. Her varied work experience also includes branch accounting at a major Oklahoma bank, office manager positions for two asbestos removal companies and a petroleum engineering company, as well as manager of landmen in the field of mineral leasing.
Gail attended Canton College in Illinois where she was a member of Sigma Alpha Theta sorority, and also attended Oklahoma City Community College. She is a member of the Central Oklahoma Legal Assistant Association and is an active member of Crossings Community Church.
