
Hayley Blair Myers’s business and litigation practice is focused primarily on issues affecting the healthcare industry, including regulatory compliance matters, day-to-day business operations, healthcare transactions, and related litigation. As part of her administrative and regulatory practice, she advises healthcare providers and suppliers on matters such as Medicare/Medicaid compliance, fraud and abuse issues, Stark Law compliance, internal audits and investigations; government agency and other payer investigations and inquiries; qui tam litigation under the federal False Claims Act; and compliance with other state and federal regulatory requirements.
As a member of the firm’s dedicated HIPAA Compliance and Health Privacy team, Hayley advises healthcare providers and the business associates of covered healthcare entities of their obligations under federal and state law to ensure the privacy and security of protected health information and other confidential records.
The Texas native earned her bachelor’s degree in letters from the University of Oklahoma in 2015 and went on to graduate from the Vanderbilt University Law School in 2019. While pursuing her Juris Doctor, Hayley was a member of the law school’s Health Law Society and the recipient of the Dean’s Leadership Award, Chancellor’s Law Scholarship, and Weldon Wilson Scholarship. She also gained valuable experience and insights into the healthcare industry while working as a legal intern for a Texas-based health system.
