Jenny Puckett is a trial lawyer whose state and federal civil litigation practice is focused on the resolution of complex business disputes, with a specific emphasis on insurance litigation and matters affecting the energy industry, including disputes involving breach of contract claims, lease cancellations, quiet title, royalty payments, property damages, environmental pollution, bodily injury, negligence and products liability.
A portion of Jenny’s practice is devoted to representing management exclusively in labor and employment disputes, including those involving claims of discrimination and harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, breach of employment agreements, and other disputes arising from the employer-employee relationship.
Jenny graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of Oklahoma and with highest honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. As an undergraduate, she served as a student assistant for the university’s study abroad program in Arezzo, Italy, and as a student ambassador for the OU Board of Visitors. While in law school, she served as articles editor of the Oklahoma Law Review, was crowned National Champion of the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition, and was named to the Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers. She was also the recipient of numerous scholarships and other honors, including the Comfort Scholarship, Judge Wayne Alley Award for Excellence in Legal Writing, and eight American Jurisprudence awards for academic excellence.
Currently, Jenny is serving on the Young Alumni Advisory & Pro Bono Council of the International Business & Human Rights Center at the University of Oklahoma College of Law.Download Bio (PDF)
