Jonna Vanderslice is corporate lawyer whose practice is focused on the representation of clients in a broad range of business and transactional matters, with an emphasis on issues affecting the oil and gas and renewable energy industries. Her clients include oil and gas exploration and production companies, oilfield service companies, midstream and transportation companies, and developers of renewable and sustainable energy projects.
Much of Jonna’s work involves negotiating, drafting and reviewing master service agreements, asset purchase and sale agreements, real estate purchase and sale agreements, leases, joint venture agreements, joint operating agreements, drilling contracts, surface damage agreements, supply agreements, and distribution agreements. She also assists clients with forming and organizing new business entities, as well as advising on day-to-day general corporate governance and transactional matters.
Jonna’s achievements have earned her inclusion in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America (business organizations; energy law; oil and gas law) and Oklahoma Super Lawyers’ list of “Oklahoma Rising Stars,” which recognizes the state’s up-and-coming attorneys.
While pursuing her post-graduate degrees, Jonna worked as a director of compliance in the Athletics Department at the University of Oklahoma. As a director, she monitored and enforced all NCAA, federal, state, and institutional rules and regulations for all sport programs regarding student-athlete financial aid, scholarships, eligibility, and camps and clinics.
