As a member of the firm’s Energy & Natural Resources Group, Katie Brunk provides comprehensive paralegal support for attorneys whose practices are concentrated on resolving complex energy, oil and gas disputes at the state, federal and appellate levels. Her primary responsibilities, which focus on trial preparation from inception to conclusion, include case management, document review and management, conducting research, coordinating and responding to discovery requests, scheduling and summarizing depositions, preparing and filing pleadings, docketing, preparing and organizing documents and exhibits for trial, and providing assistance to attorneys at trial.
Katie holds an associate of applied science degree in paralegal studies from Rose State College and began her legal career as a legal assistant in 2013. Prior to joining McAfee & Taft, she worked as a legal assistant in the Criminal Appeals Division of the Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General. Her career experience also includes working as a paralegal for the University of Oklahoma Office of Legal Counsel and in private practice for two Oklahoma City-based law firms.Download Bio (PDF)
