Kyle Bennett brings more than 20 years of aviation experience and expertise, including more than 10 years with the Federal Aviation Administration, to his role as a paralegal for McAfee & Taft’s Aviation Group. His current responsibilities include preparing aircraft closing instruments for filing and recordation with the Federal Aviation Administration, reviewing and compiling FAA records for outstanding/resolved title and lien issues, corresponding with involved parties to resolve document issues, and verifying recorded instruments have been posted by the FAA to the proper aircraft, engine and propeller records.
Kyle began his career with the FAA in 1983 and worked in various capacities learning the ins and outs of the federal aircraft registration industry for nearly six years. From 1989 – 2002, he worked as a legal instruments title examiner for three different Oklahoma-based aircraft title companies.
Prior to joining McAfee & Taft in 2006, Kyle most recently worked as a registry program assistant with the FAA, where his responsibilities included reviewing incoming documents for accuracy prior to processing and proper dispersal, assisting legal representatives with their filings, providing technical expertise to contract personnel, and advising the aviation public in matters relating to the registration of aircraft.Download Bio (PDF)
