Kyle Reather is a registered patent attorney whose practice encompasses all areas of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and related licensing and litigation. He has been registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office since 2020.
Kyle’s patent practice includes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, preparation of infringement and validity opinions, patent infringement litigation, and patent licensing. His trademark practice involves the clearance, preparation and prosecution of marks, licensing transactions, trademark enforcement, and opposition and cancellation proceedings. He also advises clients on a myriad of issues related to the protection and commercialization of their intellectual property assets and handles due diligence associated with business transactions involving intellectual property portfolios.
Kyle is a contributing author and editor of the Oklahoma chapter of U.S. State Trademark and Unfair Competition Law, a comprehensive reference guide published annually by the International Trademark Association.
Kyle received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, with special distinction, from the University of Oklahoma in 2018, and graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2021, where he was named a Comfort Scholar and earned five American Jurisprudence awards.Download Bio (PDF)
