Lacey McPherson is an advanced certified paralegal who provides comprehensive legal support to trial lawyers engaged in a broad range of civil litigation, including labor and employment matters and complex business and commercial disputes.
Lacey graduated from the paralegal certification program at the Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy in Fresno, California, in 2001 and went on to earn her certified paralegal (CP) and advanced certified paralegal (ACP) credentials from the National Association of Legal Assistants. She is currently an active member of the Tulsa Area Paralegals Association (TAPA) and the paralegal branch of the Tulsa County Bar Association.
Prior to joining McAfee & Taft, Lacey worked as a litigation paralegal for two Tulsa, Oklahoma-based law firms, where she gained extensive experience in the areas of employment and labor litigation and professional liability defense. While working full-time as a paralegal, she also previously volunteered her time for the Tulsa chapter of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), a nonprofit organization whose mission it is to speak for the best interests of abused and neglected children in Tulsa County Juvenile Court.
Lacey’s early career experience also includes providing administrative support to the International Association of Character Cities, implementing a character development program in Oklahoma City and Tulsa public schools while working as a as a character coach for Character First!
