Laura Long is a trial lawyer who concentrates her practice in energy litigation and complex business and commercial litigation. She has represented clients ranging from individuals to national corporations in state and federal trial courts, bankruptcy courts, appellate courts, and arbitrations and mediations. Her litigation practice has involved local and multi-state class actions, mass actions, and qui tam litigation. Laura’s experience includes counseling energy clients on a variety of contractual and operational matters, and she has represented clients in oil and gas related contract disputes, marketing and measurement litigation, royalty owner issues, lease disputes, easement and encroachment issues, surface owner disputes, well production disputes, and toxic torts. Her litigation experience also includes representation of clients in a variety of other industries in matters involving intellectual property, contract disputes, personal injury, and creditor’s rights, including liens, foreclosures and bankruptcy.
